Doug Shriber spent close to two decades in advertising sales and established a solid track record of running advertising campaigns for industry-leading corporations before founding his own full-service agency, the Marbury Group in Churchill, Pennsylvania. Today, Doug Shriber applies his significant expertise in event marketing, online and television advertising, national and grassroots campaign management, and other areas towards building a nationwide customer base.
Before launching the Marbury Group, Doug Shriber operated as a key account executive with Clear Channel Communications in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, from 1997 to 2011. In this role, he oversaw localized advertising for multinational corporations, such as the Coca-Cola Company and PNC Bank, and for regional businesses and organizations, including the University of Pittsburgh, the Pittsburgh Steelers National Football team, and the Cox Media Group’s WPXI Channel 11. At Clear Channel, he distinguished himself as a top-earning executive by earning a 2003 Pinnacle Award (given to the best of the best account managers) and by ranking in the top one percent of Clear Channel’s advertising sales representatives worldwide.
Prior to working for Clear Channel, Doug Shriber served as an account executive at Infinity Broadcasting in Pittsburgh and at Barnstable Broadcasting in Akron, Ohio. He earned a bachelor of science in rhetoric and communications from Kent State University.
